Adult Choir

"Sing my soul, his wondrous love!"

The Adult Choir meets on Wednesday evenings at 7:30. All are welcome. Come and be a part of this vital musical ministry!

Choristers

"Make a joyful noise to the Lord all the lands!"

If you like to sing, and are of reading age up to 6th grade, come and join in the fun of this musical offering! Learn the great hymns of our faith, anthems to challenge your musical spirit, and even occasional instrumental parts to accompany the singing. All that is required is a love of music and a lot of enthusiasm. Rehearsals are set for Sundays at 11:45 a.m., September to May.

July 11, 2010 The Jugbusters entertained us on the lawn.

July 19th Summer Concert and Picnic with Kat Mills On Sunday July 19, 2009, beginning at 6:00 p.m., the parish hosted a bar-be-que in the side yard, followed by a concert of Christ Churchs own, Kat Mills (Polys). The bar-be-que dinner included pulled pork and beef slow cooked with the rectors own homemade sauce, cole slaw, and rolls.

The Christ Church Music Program then presented a free concert at 7:00 p.m. to which the entire community was invited to hear Kat sing and play guitar. Kat has recorded three CDs, and her musical style is reminiscent of Tracy Chapman and Mary Chapin Carpenter. We all enjoyed good food, good music, and good friends.

Douglas Beck, organist, in recital, Friday, February 20th at 8:00p.m.
Beck, Organist-Choirmaster at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Alexandria, VA, presented a program of works from the 17th century to the present day. Composers include Bach, Mendelssohn, and Widor, among others. A champagne reception followed the recital. The admission was free.
