Deo Gloria will perform ....traveling through musical time and space with Gregorian chant, Renaissance motets, shape note songs, and contemporary music. The concert is free but donations are encouraged.
A meet-the-artist reception will follow the performance.
Deo Gloria includes three couples who met while singing in a Roanoke church choir. The group members, who live in the Roanoke and New River Valleys, have been singing together since 1992. True to their name, the group loves to sing "to the glory of God."
The repertoire includes a wealth of styles from early European Medieval and Renaissance music to contemporary selections. While most performances are a Capella, the group is occasionally accompanied by Becky Crowder, a pianist and music educator from Salem.
Deo Gloria has performed in many venues locally and beyond, including:

Virginia's Explore Park Appalachian Folk Festival
