Christian Formation
for Children and Youth
Christ Church has used a popular educational method known as "Godly Play" since 2004. The children learn stories about the Bible, parables, holy sacraments, and Episcopal Church through story-telling. This method is very engaging for all ages, and even the youngest child love to participate.
Godly Play is intended for children K to 2nd grade and Atrium is geared for children 3rd grade through 5th grade. They meet on Sunday morning at 9:30 upstairs in the education wing, September to May.
Children's Chapel is offered at 10:30 in Martin Chapel on Sunday all year long. This program allows children from 3 year-old to 3rd grade to worship in age-appropriate ways and in an environment which is both welcoming and nurturing.
